Riding Lessons
Private and group lessons are available for those with their own horses; horses can be brought to Winsley Park Equestrian for facilities hire, clinics, competitions or lessons, or Annemarie can travel to you.
Limited vacancies are available on the Winsley Park Equestrian school horses. Annemarie is also available for instructing at clinics or HRCAV rallies.
If you’re having a training or behaviour issue with your horse, or you’re wanting to learn more about handling, starting or schooling your horse, Annemarie can coach you through the steps of how to train horses to achieve your goals; these are the ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions and courses will also soon be offered online.
Annemarie is also a qualified equine sports massage therapist, equine myotherapist, and equine red light therapist, offering a range of massage treatment options to support optimal performance and wellness in the horse. Equine massage treatments are available both on-site at Winsley Park Equestrian, or Annemarie can travel to you if you are within the Ararat/Grampians region, from Stawell down to Lake Bolac and Halls Gap through to Beaufort. She is also currently studying the International Diploma of Equine Osteopathy with the London College of Animal Osteopathy to become a qualified Equine Osteopath.
Holistic assessments are also offered by Annemarie, for those wanting to find the best next steps for making progress with their horse, by taking into account factors such as bit-fit, saddle-fit, conformation and gait analysis, musculoskeletal functioning, rider position and application of the aids, the horse’s training and behavioural or other issues.
If you’re a member of HRCAV, Annemarie is both a helmet-tagging official and a Level Assessor, offering both services on-site at Winsley Park Equestrian, enabling you to compete in HRCAV events.
Winsley Park Equestrian has equestrian facilities on-site, which are available for event or casual hire, including a 75m x 46m multipurpose outdoor sand arena with show jumping course and full size dressage arena markers, a 52m x 35m grass arena with obstacle course, a 25m x 22m grass/sand arena with mirror and lights, cross country courses (30cm-105cm), 20m sand round yard, wash bay, and 4 day/holding yards.
Horses and a lifetime of learning.
Annemarie began her equestrian journey by riding her green-broken, three-year-old, Shetland Pony, as the two-year-old daughter of a riding instructor. Today, she’s bringing one of her Friesian Warmbloods up through the levels of dressage from a classical training basis, and developing the training of her other horses so that they can feel better in the way their bodies function and enjoy their time with humans, working together in a range of disciplines and settings.
