Services

Winsley Park Equestrian’s services are all aimed at helping to form happy, healthy, and harmonious horse and rider partnerships. Off-site service costs vary according to travel distances—enquire for pricing. Prices for services on-site at Winsley Park Equestrian are listed below.
Equine Health 

  • Equine Massage Therapies: help your horse to feel and perform at its best, with sports massage, myotherapy, trigger point/neuromuscular therapy, and may include one area for treatment with photobiomodulation/red light therapy. Treatments are available on-site at Winsley Park Equestrian for $100. Contact Annemarie for pricing at your location (varies depending on distance). Ask about our ‘Multi-service Discount’.
  • Photobiomodulation/Red Light Therapy: uses Red Light and Near Infra Red Light to increase cellular activity to improve overall health, reduce inflammation, repair soft tissues, and improve circulation. $60 for 30 minutes at Winsley Park Equestrian. Ask Annemarie about pricing at your location (varies depending on distance). 
  • Holistic Assessments: dynamic evaluation of your horse (observed while ridden and/or in-hand/lunged) for recommendations regarding next steps in training, performance or combating particular issues covering conformation, posture, balance, areas of tension, hoof and musculoskeletal functioning, bitting and tack, horse/rider exercises for improvement and rehabilitation. $85 at Winsley Park Equestrian and rate varies for other locations according to travel.

Riding, Training & Horse Care Lessons 

  • Online Horse Riding/Training Courses (coming soon): updated part of website with course offerings and digital products is under development.
  • Train the Trainer: work through a particular issue with your horse, or learn how to become your horse’s trainer, in-hand or under saddle, with Annemarie coaching you step-by-step towards your horse-training goals. $85 for 60 minutes at Winsley Park Equestrian. Enquire for off-site pricing.
  • Private Riding Lessons: available on your own horse either at Winsley Park Equestrian ($85 for 60 minutes) or at your own venue (rate varies depending on travel). Intensive private coaching sessions for riders seeking improvement in their skills, which is great for those wanting a deeper understanding of riding and horse-training, or for those planning to compete, or who are already out competing (dressage/flatwork/showing, poles, show jumping, three phase equitation/obstacles, cross country, or custom focus).
  • Private Classical In-hand lessons: $40 for 30 minutes with your own horse at Winsley Park Equestrian. Enquire for off-site pricing.
  • Theory/horse care lessons: stand alone (available at Winsley Park Equestrian) or add-on sessions to riding lessons; learn about caring for a horse, grooming, tacking up and more. If there’s a topic that you’re interested in, just ask - $30 for 30 minutes.

Horse Riding Clubs Association of Victoria (HRCAV) Services 

  • Instruction at clinics or HRCAV rallies: organisers, please contact Annemarie for her day rate (varies depending on distance).
  • HRCAV Level Assessment: official HRCAV Level Assessments as required by the HRCAV for horse and rider combinations wishing to compete (all HRCAV disciplines available) held at Winsley Park Equestrian for $60 per combination.
  • HRCAV Helmet-Tagging Service: free for HRCAV members at Winsley Park Equestrian (appointment required).

Equestrian Facilities Hire, incorporating:

- use of the Upper Arena (multipurpose, 75 x 46m, Ercildoune sand; set up with 60 x 20m dressage markers in one part, and ground poles exercise layouts and show jumping course in another part of the arena);
- use of the Middle Arena (25 x 22m grass/sand arena with mirror - use of lights for $5 extra);
- use of the Lower Arena (52 x 35m grass arena with obstacle course);
- use of working equitation/3PE/trail obstacle course (including rope gate, pick up and place object, varied footing box, bull & ring, high trail bridge with bank/drop, jump,  teeter-totter/seesaw, bell-ring with corridor, filled tyres, pick your way logs, side pass pole, and low trail bridge, rein back L corridor, stock pen, single slalom, flag/pole and drum, and more);
- use of round yard (20m diameter, Ercildoune sand);
- use of parking area;
- use of day yards;
- use of arena-side grandstand and bench seating;
- use of picnic table (next to parking area); 
- use of portable toilet.

  • Shared-use hire of facilities listed in description above (excludes cross country*): non-exclusive facilities hire for property access in a 2-hour block  (up to 3 different users may hire at same time): $20 per user.
  • Private-use hire of facilities listed in description above (excludes cross country*): exclusive facilities hire for property access in a 4-hour block (individual hire or same group hire, maximum 10 users, includes access to lunchroom with table, chairs, microwave, fridge/freezer and tea/coffee-making): $200.
  • Whole day private-use hire of facilities listed in description above (excludes cross country*): exclusive facilities hire for property access in an 8-hour block (individual hire or same group hire, maximum 20 users; includes access to lunchroom with table, chairs, microwave, fridge/freezer and tea/coffee-making): $400 

*Cross country courses, including open areas around cross country jumps, are only available during riding lessons, level assessments, or clinic bookings with Winsley Park Equestrian due to insurance requirements.

^Arena measurements are approximate, and available obstacles may be varied slightly from what is listed, and additional, temporary warm up arenas may be erected and are available for use unless otherwise specified.
